Sal with the Stars: Bra Boys surf blue carpet

"It's incredible. I'm on Sunset Blvd with the stars. I still can't believe it's happening," said Sunny Abberton at the Hollywood premiere of Bra Boys.

The documentary narrated by Russell Crowe had Nicky Hilton holding onto her boyfriend with one hand while the other was "over my face for most of the film. I didn't realise it was going to be so full on!"

Entourage star Adrian Grenier paid more attention to former Home and Away hottie Isabel Lucas, who walked down the ocean blue carpet just after mega producer Brian Grazer, who is charged with producing the feature film version of Bra Boys.

"We have started working on the feature film and apparently Matt Damon and Mark Wahlberg are interested," said Sunny. "Now we just need someone ruggedly handsome to play me," he smiled.

"Danny DeVito would work," joked brother Koby as he passed him on the press line.

"I think George Clooney would be a better fit, don't you?" smiled Sunny.

Clooney may be steering clear of sports/action films after his football comedy Leatherheads had a disappointing opening weekend here in the US.

"Watching him running up and down the field and being pounded by men half his age was frightening. Clooney is not a sports star. He's much better off in a suit," said The Box Office Guru.

And I'm sure most would agree. Clooney also directed Leatherheads, which got me thinking, would Crowe do the same with the surfie biopic?

"I don't know. I'm not a filmmaker. I have no idea. I'll let Russell (Crowe) and Brian (Grazer) work that one out. That's their job," said Koby.

Crowe could look to the cast of Forgetting Sarah Marshall, who spent three months in Hawaii shooting the romantic disaster comedy produced by Judd Apatow.

"I am thinking of going pro," said Marshall star Jason Segal when I asked him about the surfing boot camp he had to do prior to filming. "I'm up for any type of work that involves a location like this," said Segal when we caught up at The Turtle Bay Resort in Oahu.

"I tricked an entire studio to letting me have a three-month vacation. It was definitely the best gig I've had yet," said Segal.

"I was on vacation absolutely! I had no choice on the location and I couldn't be happier with Hawaii," added Mila Kunis, the love interest in the film.

"Jason was genius in coming up with the idea to set the movie here," smiled first time director Nick Stoller. "We drank way too many mai tais and had way too much fun. I've got no idea how I'm going to top this experience."

"You could give Australia a go," I suggest.

"Yes!" Stoller replies. "Now all we need is a script!"

But it sounds like Stoller and Segal have got more than enough scripts to work on. The two are working on another romantic comedy, Five Year Engagement, and will then write and direct a movie about the Muppets.

"I love Miss Piggy and Kermit and I'm not joking," says Segal. "Seriously, I am doing a Muppet movie!"

Jessica Alba says Mike Myers is also going to "crack us up" in his romantic comedy, The Love Guru.

"I had just come back from Australia where I was touring for Fantastic Four and my agent said, 'Mike Myers wants you to be in his next comedy' and I was like, 'Really'?"

"I thought it was a joke. I couldn't believe it. It came from out of nowhere. It was very unexpected."

Alba says she's been "a huge fan of Mike's for years" but was terrified about trying to make people laugh.

"Comedy is quite terrifying. If it doesn't work you feel really stupid and you're so vulnerable."

Myers said Alba "nailed" the part of playing his love interest and will have no problems getting more roles in the genre.

"Jessica caught on so quickly. She's really funny, not to mention incredibly beautiful. I loved working with her."

The Love Guru hits cinemas in July.
