Will talks 'Step Brothers'
Will Ferrell is stepping away from sports-based laughs for his next project - starring alongside John C Reilly in new comedy Step Brothers.
"It's the third movie I've written with [Anchorman director and
co-writer] Adam McKay," explains Will, who is currently starring in basketball comedy Semi-Pro.
"What are we making fun of? We're two 40-year-old guys who live with their single parents still, and those two parents meet each other and get married, so we're forced to be stepbrothers."
"We still have basically the same adolescent behaviour that we've had since we were 15," he adds. "So I guess we're making fun of people who still live at home and refuse to work."
But ironically, it seems Will's own past strangely mirrors that of his new character Brennan Huff.
"For years, I was one of those guys," he admits sheepishly. "I went back home after college for three years."
