Former Baywatch star Pamela Anderson thought she'd seen it all, until a guest at her press conference pulled a chicken drumstick from his underpants.

The host of an online video website stood up and took off his shirt in front of Anderson's packed press conference at a Sydney hotel on Tuesday.

Describing himself as her biggest fan, he pulled down his jeans and Anderson signed his red briefs.

"Wow, get my camera, shoot this," Anderson said.

But she was clearly unimpressed when he told her he slept in a big bed with lots of animals, and pulled out a chicken drumstick from his pants and munched on it.

"The things you get asked to do," said Anderson, an animal rights activist, as she glanced at her manager.

"This is what happens. See, I create this image, and this is what happens.

"I'm a girl on the loose damn it."

Anderson, who protested against the fast-food chain KFC when she was in Australia last month, said it was the strangest thing she'd seen at a press conference.

Anderson is in Sydney to promote her new "observational TV documentary" called Pam: Girl On The Loose.

Wearing a cream wrap dress and black patent stilettos, Anderson fielded a bunch of bizarre questions, sometimes with equally strange answers.

One journalist asked her if gymnasts or rock stars made better lovers, while a radio presenter asked if he could get a hickey.

"Sorry," she said.

"I get grounded for hickies."

The Canadian-born former Playboy model also spoke about her children, politics, animal rights, her appreciation of rugby players, and the Olympics.

When asked what girls could do about the man drought in Sydney, she strangely answered: "Well Mitcham is gay right?", referring to the Australian diving gold medallist.

"Matthew Mitcham, I was hoping to meet him. But maybe the guys are gay or married."

When asked about marriage, she said: "I don't think I have much advice for marriage, obviously".

Anderson said she felt sexier than ever in her 40s, but when asked if men treated her differently now, she said: "Which one?".

Despite her bizarre press conference experience, she let the drumstick-wielding host off the hook at the end.

"I'll give you my number, just give me call," he said.

"Write your number on here," she responded pointing to a DVD he gave her.

"There you go, you never know. I've said that before, what could happen?" she said.
