Stevie Wonder announces Aussie tour
Soul legend Stevie Wonder will tour Australia in October, his first Down Under visit in more than a decade.
The A Wonder Spring Night world tour will travel to Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth.
The shows, which are part of a world tour, will also be his first national tour here since the 1980s.
The 58-year-old singer, who has been blind since birth, said the world tour is a thank-you to his fans.
"I want to thank everyone for the contribution you've made over my life," he said at a press conference in London to announce the tour.
Wonder has 25 Grammy Awards to his name, as well as the prestigious lifetime achievement award.
During his career he has racked up 49 Top 40 singles, 32 number-one hits, and an Academy Award for 'I Just Called To Say I Love You'.
Tickets go on sale on July 24.
